Zip City E-Bike Return Policy

We want you to feel confident in your purchase from Zip City. If you are not completely satisfied, we do accept returns on eligible e-bikes under the following terms:

Return Window & Eligibility

• New and unused Zip City e-bikes may be returned or exchanged within 7 days of delivery.

• Bikes must be unridden and in original condition, including:

  • No visible wear or use

  • No dirt, dust, scuffs, odors, or customizations

  • Original box and all included accessories (keys, charger, hardware, etc.)

• Proof of purchase (receipt or order confirmation) is required.

• A return request must be submitted within 7 days of receiving your e-bike.

To initiate a return, please contact us and include:

• Order number

• Photos and/or video showing the bike’s condition

Return Fees

• A 15% restocking fee will apply to shipped e-bikes.

• Local pick-up customers may return within 7 days without a restocking fee.

• Return and original shipping costs will be deducted from your refund. These range from $150 to $350 depending on your location and model.

• Once your return is approved, we’ll provide instructions.

• Do not return your bike without contacting us first — returns sent without authorization will be rejected at the sender’s expense.

Cosmetic Transport Damage

Minor scuffs or scratches may occur during shipping. These do not qualify as defects and are not grounds for a return or exchange. If any parts arrive damaged, we will promptly send replacement parts.

Non-Returnable Items

• Bikes that have been ridden or kept for more than 7 days

• Bikes returned with missing accessories or packaging

• Returns without prior approval

Refund Timing

Approved returns will be refunded to your original payment method once the product is received and inspected. Please allow additional time depending on your bank’s processing speed.

This e-bike is available for local pickup at our warehouse in French Valley, California, and comes fully assembled and ready to ride.

We also offer local delivery within a 70-mile radius for a flat fee of $99, which includes full assembly and setup.

We strive to make your purchasing experience as seamless and flexible as possible.

We accept cash payments and Venmo payments to @zipcity-ebikes.

Once you complete your order on our website, your bike will be reserved for 24 hours. You will then have 24 hours to complete your purchase either by picking up your bike and paying in cash, or by completing your Venmo payment.

This process ensures that your selected bike is held for you during this period, providing you with the convenience to finalize your purchase at your own pace.
